Sarah Fenwick

Sarah Fenwick

The majority of Sarah’s work is leadership and talent development through development centres, workshops, one to one and team coaching. Sarah believes in using an integrative mix of coaching tools and techniques that best match the client’s needs. She loves working with clients who really do want to maximise their potential and achieve their goals and will challenge, encourage and support them to think out of the box and step beyond and expand their comfort zone.

Sarah’s business background is in sales, marketing and public relations. She has worked at executive management and director level, as an employee and in self-employment, as well as in a variety of highly responsible voluntary positions. She has wide range of experience coupled with excellent business and interpersonal skills.

Over the last 18 years Sarah has developed her strong interest in personal development and performance psychology into a second career and has experience coaching a wide range of clients in public and private sector, sport and personal environments including O2, HSBC, KPMG, British Sugar, Cable and Wireless, Alfred McAlpine, Kleinwort Benson, RBS, Yell, Neopost, UGS, Gurit, United Kingdom Sailing Academy and the Department of Work and Pensions.

Sarah is a Chartered Psychologist specialising in Coaching Psychology, Sport Psychology and Positive Psychology. She is an accredited professional coach and has been coaching since 2001. She is a graduate of the Meyler Campbell Business Coach programme, consultant in the Schroder Model of High Performance Leadership Behaviours and has Level A and B in Psychometric testing. She is a member of the British Psychological Society, Association for Business Psychologists and British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences, and a Founding Member of the Association for Coaching and the Centre for Applied Positive Psychology.

Worthy of note, is that Sarah ‘walks the talk’, not only has she been successful in business, she has also successfully competed in various team and individual sports, notably at international level in paragliding, including medals at World and European Championships and three World records. This combined with her business experience and academic qualifications gives her an excellent understanding of performance psychology from the theoretical, practical and personal experience perspectives.

"I had the rare privilege of observing Sarah coaching a CEO when she came to us for an advanced coaching refresher. It was fascinating to watch: she seamlessly wove together all three of her "lives" as a strategic coach, trained sports psychologist and high-performance sportswoman herself, drawing on all of them to help and challenge and egg on her client to higher achievement. This obviously makes her perfectly suited to coaching high achievers, especially those who are proud of having a coach who has herself (literally!) flown higher and further than anyone else. But having known Sarah know for almost a year, I think it would be a mistake to pigeon hole her as just a coach for "alpha males"; her sensitivity and kindness give her coaching much greater range." Anne Scoular, Managing Director, Meyler Campbell.
