In-house Coach Training
For coaching to have a powerful impact across an organisation increasing numbers of companies and public bodies are developing in-house coaching programmes. These provide leadership development, particularly in the area of active listening, developing questioning and feedback skills and increasing understanding of one’s impact on others. The development of these skills can support internal culture change.
The training can be done in two main ways:
Coaching skills. The first would be to run a programme of short sessions which introduce the concept of coaching skills to support the development of a coaching approach within teams. Reinforcing areas such as listening and feedback skills help leaders and line managers to adopt a facilitative style.
In-house coaches. Through a variety of methods we develop skilled in-house coaches who can support leaders at all levels in the achievement of their objectives. This will include pre-preparation including how internal coaches will be selected, content delivered through a range of highly interactive workshops and then supervision of coaching practice. The exact content will be tailored to the needs of individual organisations. |
