Communication Skills
Good communication can make a powerful impact. We all know clear and unambiguous communication is key to getting our message across and this is especially important during periods of change. Communication is only successful when the person who has sent the message and the person who receives it have the same interpretation of the message. Poor communication can result in blocks to achieving our goals.
Eve Turner Associates supports the development of communication skills through one-to-one coaching or as part of programmes in leadership development. We will examine the key skills components including:
- Writing
- Speaking including giving feedback
- Presentations
- Consulting
- Explaining
We will discuss the processes that can be embedded to help deliver results. This may include a discussion on strategies to deliver objectives such as improvements in staff survey results. We will also look at the feedback clues our audience give us, both verbal and nonverbal reactions to the communicated message, and the context and culture within which the message is delivered.
